“Prelude to Christmas” – Flower Show

N.A.F.A.S Cullompton and District Flower Club – 1st November 2010

Open to the public 2pm – 4.30pm.   Prize giving 4pm.

Still feeling a bit under par after having just had a flu like illness for the last two weeks I was not really in the mood for exhibiting at the show.  After a bit of friendly arm twisting I finally got my act together and entered two out of the seven classes.  Returning to the show in the afternoon, which was now open to the public I was delighted to learn that I had been awarded a 2nd and a highly commended.  Although these results were not as favourable as in previous years I was still very pleased that I had made the effort to support the event and all of the people who put such a lot of time into its organisation.
