Terms & Conditions
1. GENERAL
1.1. “We/Our/Us” means Lorraine Daykin, Flowers by Design, the Seller.
1.2. “You/Your” means the Customer, the Purchaser.
1.3. Your offer to purchase goods and /or services from the seller, and the acceptance to supply the same will constitute your order.
1.4. Your order will be subject these terms and conditions.
1.5. These terms and conditions are in addition to your statutory rights and do not affect them.
2. PAYMENT
2.1. A non-refundable deposit of £75.00 is required to secure your wedding date, the date on which the applicable services and goods will be supplied.
2.2. Your wedding date will be held for no longer than 14 working days without a deposit.
2.3. Your order will be regarded as provisional until you have paid the non-refundable deposit of £75.00.
2.4. You will be required to pay a further non-refundable deposit of 25% of the estimate of the costs of your order 6 calendar weeks before your wedding date.
2.5. Failure to pay that deposit may result in the cancellation of your order.
2.6. Full payment of your order will be due no later than 14 working days prior to your wedding day.
2.7. Failure to make the full payment by the due date may result in the cancellation of your order.
2.8. Payments must be either in cash, by cheque made payable to Lorraine Daykin or ‘online’ BACS transfer only. We do not accept credit cards or debit cards.
2.9. The final price payable may vary slightly due to prevailing market conditions since our prices are based upon daily auctions at flower markets.
3. OTHER
3.1. The final number of table vases, buttonhole flowers, and all other floral arrangements and sundries that constitute your order must be confirmed 14 working days before your wedding date.
3.2. It will not be possible to reduce the order after the confirmation date referred to in paragraph 3.1.
3.3. We will make every reasonable effort to supply your chosen flowers.
3.4. We reserve the right to substitute flowers and /or goods to an equivalent value and quality should prevailing market conditions reduce availability and/or quality of the goods.
3.5. Any vases, stands, ‘props’ and items used to design and support your floral arrangements that are owned by us must remain at the venue.
3.6. You must take every care to ensure that the said items become neither damaged, nor go missing.
3.7. You will be charged for any of the said items that are either damaged or missing.
4. DELIVERY
4.1. It is your responsibility to ensure that you supply the correct delivery details and addresses.
4.2. We accept no further responsibility for the care of the flowers or arrangements upon delivery to either yourself or representatives.
5. CANCELLATION POLICY
5.1. In the event of cancellation your deposit(s) will not be refunded.
6. NON-PAYMENT
6.1. In the event of your failure to pay any monies owed, you will be responsible for all costs incurred by us to recover payment.
7. COMPLAINTS
7.1. All complaints will be handled promptly and you will be treated fairly and in a confidential manner.
8. DISCLAIMER
8.1. We will make every reasonable effort to ensure that our arrangements
incorporating candles are safe, however we accept no responsibility
for any damage caused by ignited candles.
8.2. You must take care to ensure the candles do not ignite any of the
foliage/flowers or decorative accessories used in your arrangement(s).
8.3. You must take care to provide a well ventilated and draught free
environment when using ignited candles.

Terms & Conditions of Hire
1. GENERAL
1.0. “We/Our/Us” means Lorraine Daykin, Flowers by Design, the Provider.
1.1. “You/Your” means the Customer, the Hirer.
1.2 . Your offer to hire goods and /or services from the Provider, and the
acceptance to supply the same will constitute your order.
1.3. Your order will be subject to these terms and conditions.
1.4. These terms and conditions are in addition to your statutory rights and do
not affect them.
2. PAYMENT
2.1. A security deposit of £75 is required at the time of placing your order. This
will be refunded providing the hirer is not in breach of paragraph 2.2.
2.2. In the event the said items are not returned, returned late, or are missing
or damaged your deposit will not be refunded.
2.3. Any hired items not returned on or before the end of the hire period will be
subject to an additional charge. This will be the equivalent to the hire rate
for a 5 calendar day period.
2.4. Full payment of the hire costs will be due no later than 14 working days
prior to the hire date.
2.5. Payment must be either by cash, cheque or online BACS transfer only.
Cheques must be made payable to Lorraine Daykin. We do not accept
credit or debit cards.
3. OTHER
3.1. All hired equipment remains the sole property of Lorraine Daykin Flowers.
3.2. The minimum equipment hire order is for six vases.
3.3. You are responsible for any loss or damage to any of the equipment
supplied from the time they are delivered to or collected by you from us
until the goods are collected by, or returned to Lorraine Daykin Flowers.
3.4. It is your responsibility to notify us immediately of any discrepancies.
Complaints cannot be made after the said items have been returned.
3.5. It is your responsibility to ensure that all hire equipment is returned in a
clean and serviceable condition.
3.6. You will be required to pay an additional cleaning charge if the items are
not returned in a clean and serviceable condition.
3.7. All equipment supplied is to be HAND WASHED only.
3.8. We accept no responsibility in the event of any injury or damaged cause
by the hire equipment, however caused.
3.9. The hire period will be for no longer than 5 calendar days unless agreed
by prior arrangement.
4. DELIVERY/COLLECTION
4.1. You will be responsible for the delivery/collections costs as agreed.
4.2. We reserve the right to make an additional charge for any aborted
journeys, waiting time or costs incurred in collecting items not returned as
agreed.
4.3. You must pack any hire equipment for collection safely and carefully in the
original packing if this has been supplied.
5. NON PAYMENT
5.1. In the event of the “hirer/hirers agent failure to pay any monies owed you
will be responsible for all costs incurred by Lorraine Daykin Flowers to
recover payment.
6. CANCELLATION
6.1. In the event of cancellation the deposit (s) will be not be refundable.
7. COMPLAINTS
7.1. All complaints will be handled promptly and you will be treated in a fair
and confidential manner.
